Tueday Taggers - Time

Here is my design team Card for this week's Tuesday Taggers where the theme for this week is Time and Clocks. Please pop over and join in the fun! I made the background paper by swirling Dusty concord and spiced marmalade distress inks onto my non-stick mat and spritzing with water. I lay my paper over the top and dragged it a little to ensure coverage. When it was dry and ironed flat I stamped with Hero art's leaf flourish, crafty individuals text background, a flourish from CI and Hero arts sentiment (Take Time...). The main image is from Non Sequitur, stamped in black versafine over a background brayered with Kaleidacolor Creole Spice.
I'm quite pleased that I'm still using old stamps and stash and not rushing out to buy new stuff! I'm saving my pennies for a couple of weeks time when I'm taking the car for a decent run out...to Peterborough! Yes, the draw of a bigger Sir Stampalot store was just too much to resist!

Morning Sally

I am not sure what this tells us, but I went down the samples on the DT blog and clicked this one knowing just where it would take me, the same with Zoe's. And it was not that Hero swirl which drew me.

That apart, this is a wonderful creation. The backgroud colours and shading are beautiul as is the whole card.

Well done on joining the team. I have a clock stamp so I guess no excuse not to join in, all I need now is time.

Hi Sally,
This is a stunning creation! I love the background you have created with the Distress Inks.
Are you going to Sir Stampalot on 20th March when Brenda is demoing? Hubby has promised me a trip to Peterborough and that was when I was thinking of going.

Sally, you've surpassed yourself with this, it's stunning. I love the colours in the background, I'd never have thought of using these two together but they look fabulous.
The clock and the text stamp's work so well too and I love that sentiment.
I'm very envious of your trip to Peterborough, wish I lived nearer!!!
Have a great time.
