A snippet make

I'm back again with a quick snippet card for Di's crafty snippet challenge. I delved deep in my snippet draw and found scraps of these papers from Pink Petticoat. The border across the middle is pearlised and all one colour(Honest!). That was a sample that came with my latest parcel from Dies to Die for.
The frame around the main image is from Waltzing Mouse, stamped in Versamagic Tea Leaves, and the thistle image is from Chocolate Baroque's Wild meadow themeplate. I coloured it with promarkers and finished off with a sentiment from Waltzing Mouse.
I'm off to the playground to see if anyone wants to play cat's cradle, armed with a bag of cough candy (the stuff that looks like fudge and rots your teeth very quickly, not the orange boiled sweet ones). See you there!

Gosh, know what you mean about the border piece of green card.... the photo makes it look like two shades! It's a really pretty stamp which goes perfectly with the patterned paper.

Love the way you framed that CB stamp - I've recently acquired that one. Superb colours on that paper & really like the way you picked out the green for the border. Don't those leaves in the top patterned paper match the spindly leaves of the image beautifully? I love it when I find things like that.

Wow Sally, this is fabulous! Love the image and how you coloured it - goes so well with the BPs. Pearlescent card is always hard to take piccies of - not as bad as mirri card though where I usually end up with me peering back :)

Cough candy, that sounds just the ticket in this weather!

I love that image Sally and your colour coordination is perfect, really shall have to investigate CB stamps, not with a view to buying any you must realise.

Hi Sally

Great use of your snippets and fabulous colour choices too.

I have a tiny little drawer with all the little dies I received from Dies to Die for. Must get those out and consider a play with them. Thanks for the inspiration.

Never heard of cough candy .. .. and might not risk my teeth!!!

Love Jules xx

Like your thistle. Got a few of those growing in the garden at the moment. Well I did till I chopped em down with the edge cutters. Never realised they had hollow stems till now!!! Erm how do I get the red colour from the cheery lips of me mouth please?
